The Vixen Visual Performance System is designed to meet the demanding needs of low-latency on-demand video playback and compositing. As a powerful computing platform capable of running a variety of software solutions it is prepackaged and easily deployed to minimize setup time and maximize creative capabilities.

Our systems are not tied down to one software with a specific set of features. Instead we are constantly exploring new and innovative solutions to meet the fast evolving industry of live video design. We welcome designers and software developers alike to contact us and share in this Wiki new and innovative concepts to begin to grow a community of passionate thinkers interested in blowing the box wide open and demonstrating what the future of live video integration can become.

At Inframe Systems we not only build but use the Vixens so we know the high demands of real-time video compositing. This is why we build our systems from the ground up selecting each component carefully to ensure that performance is never compromised. We maintain a fleet of systems and constantly update them to stay at the cutting edge of computing bandwidth and stability.

ViXen Custom Solutions:

Since the VIXEN system is a high powered open hardware platform dedicated to video processing it can be pre-installed with various software solutions. We are currently in development of pre-packaged engine images that will allow for exciting new interactive tools and real-time visual generation. We invite any requests or ideas and we will work with our extended community of colleagues to source and/or develop a solution that can accomplish almost any design. Check in here to keep track of updates and postings of what will be coming to a VIXEN platform near you.

Here is a quick sample of the kind of interaction and custom real-time compositing we are developing. This engine was custom built to respond to wireless control signals from an iPhone.
